Step Up Classes

 

Step Up is a bold and original approach to preparing students - and their parents - for the leap to secondary school.

 

Created in collaboration with our sister centre in Essex, each of our Step-Up classes gives children extension work to equip them with the personal and academic skills they will need to thrive at secondary school.

 

As well as teaching in maths and English, this means an education in problem-solving, building self-esteem and revision techniques, amongst others.

 

 

Step Up Year 6, Chelmsford

 

Academically, these will be focused on English and maths SATs preparation (including level 6) and an introduction to Year 7 work. These will also include problem-solving, creative writing and study techniques.
